Esti Klein
the farm: a love poem
Hello everyone!
Welcome back to Arrhythmia Magazine! This week we have a talented poet and university freshman, who has written a harrowing and powerful poem about the self, relations with others, and the relationship between the self and the body.
Please note the trigger warnings: mature/explicit content related to sexual violence.
Esti Klein is a freshman English Major at Binghamton University. She is passionate about the undergraduate literary magazine she is co-president of, in addition to her dog and her favorite books.
If you’d like to support the magazine and make a donation, please click the link on the word “donation,” and it’ll take you to Amanda’s (founder of Arrhythmia) PayPal link. That’s the only viable way of receiving donations for the magazine as of now.
If you would like to show your appreciation for anybody whose work has appeared in Arrhythmia, send us an email with your message inquiry, and we can help deliver your token of appreciation, whether that’s a personal note of encouragement or monetary support.
Please note that general submissions are still open. We accept poetry, short stories, essays/creative nonfiction, photography, and artwork.
All submissions should be sent to arrhythmiamagazine@gmail.com in PDF or DOCX form, except for artwork/photography. Please see the submission guidelines here.
Next week and the week after that we have some more great flash fiction being published so keep an eye out for the upcoming posts!
