Azalea Geist
Wonderfully written poems
Dear Readers,
Welcome to October! Firstly, we would like to issue an apology as we accidentally skipped Azalea in our publishing schedule; therefore, we are publishing her poems today. For the next two weeks, we still have flash fiction and poetry, which will follow the schedule as sent via email.
We are pleased to share Azalea’s work with everyone. We enjoyed the use of form and structure, and think the topics are relevant. We also like how Azalea’s poems challenge norms and stereotypes. Let us know any thoughts or comments!
Azalea Geist is a collector of words, an appreciator of bones, and the only member of her family to her knowledge to win a spelling bee with only one contestant, as well as a student at Southern Oregon University.
General submissions and themed submissions are closed as of June 2, 2025.
If you’d like to support the magazine and make a donation, please click the link on the word “donation” and it’ll take you to Amanda’s (founder of Arrhythmia) PayPal link. That’s the only viable way of receiving donations for the magazine as of now.
If you would like to show your appreciation for anybody whose work has appeared in Arrhythmia, send us an email with your message inquiry, and we can take care of sending them your token of appreciation, whether that’s a personal note of encouragement or monetary support.
See you all next week with some flash fiction!
